PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The Brazi greenfield power plant will have an installed capacity of 860 MW. The project arises to over 800 million euros and will cover 9% off the country's total electricity production by 2012, the complete operational year of the power plant.
Approximately 20% off the power plant capacity will be used for covering PETROM's personal consumption and the rest will be sold on the Romanian energy market.
The power plant is designed according to the highest technical standards and will fullfil the latest European ecological demands, benefiting of a highly-modern equipment of emission reduction.
The project includes also the building of a gas pipe 30 km long for the gas supply and an energy supply high tension line for the delivery of electrical energy towards the domestic network.
